Gabriela is a Latina performer based in NYC and Detroit. She is a proud graduate of Syracuse University, where she received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and graduated summa cum laude.

Originally from Michigan in the Metro Detroit area, Gabriela knew she wanted to pursue theatre from a very young age. She began dancing at the age of 3, started acting on camera at age 8, and has been singing for as long as she’s been able to talk. When she discovered she could do all three of these things at the same time through theatre, she knew exactly what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. In addition to performing, she loves writing, especially both the book and score of musicals, and trying her hand at directing every now and then.

Outside of theatre, Gabriela has a love for all things math and science, constantly looking for ways to expand her knowledge of the world. She is also a strong advocate for Mental Health Awareness. You can find her playing her guitar, exercising with Pilates, or learning a new arts and crafts skill when she’s not belting show tunes in her car.
